The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head Syafrin Liputo checked the backflow of Eid homecomers at the Kalideres Intercity Interprovincial (AKAP) Bus Terminal, Kalideres, West Jakarta, on Saturday (5/7).

On this occasion, his side wanted to ensure the safety and comfort of the returning Eid homecomers whose numbers continued to increase in the number of terminals in Jakarta.
"We want to ensure the terminal's readiness in providing services for travelers who arrive at the terminal at night and early in the morning," he said.

Kalideres AKAP Bus Terminal Head Revi Zulkarnaen said the backflow of Eid homecomers who arrived at the terminal was seen from Wednesday (5/4) to Saturday (5/8) at 09:00 with a total of 3,350 passengers on 612 buses.
In detail, as many as 367 passengers and 102 buses had arrived on Wednesday (5/4), 506 passengers and 141 buses on Thursday (5/6), 1,221 passengers and 172 buses on Friday (5/6), then 1,457 passengers and 197 buses as of 9:00 today.
"The peak of backflow is expected to occur on Sunday (5/8) night to the next early morning, dominated by passengers from Sumatera," he stated.
